How we find out before you tell us
An automated check requests the site every five minutes and tells us after three failures in a row.
A second check runs hourly from outside our infrastructure, so an outage of our own backend cannot silence it.
Every scheduled job records each run, and we are told when one goes quiet for longer than its schedule allows.
This page is a file in our source repository. Every change to it is a reviewed, dated change with an author — so what it said on any past day can be looked up, not just what it says now.
